Operation Timothy
Operation Timothy is our most popular tool for discipleship. It is a great way to follow Jesus instruction to make disciples of all the nations, "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." This isn't a method to win converts. It's a pathway to understanding God and mentoring believers in the depths of our faith based on the principles of the Critical Process.

The Process of Operation Timothy
Leaving a Legacy helps instruct and teach the whole process of discipleship. It contains both principle and practical helps on how to invest your life in others. Our goal is spiritual reproduction. This tool will help you and your team discover the keys to a fruitful ministry.

Why Use Operation Timothy?
Most people in western culture approach the subject of discipleship in a systematic, logical manner. We create an agenda, formulate a plan and launch out, often oblivious to the needs of the person with whom we are attempting to share our life in Christ.

The approach of Jesus followed the patterns indigenous to ancient Palestine. As a rabbi (teacher), Jesus spent plenty of time with his followers, giving them opportunities to observe his reactions to the rich, the poor, the priests, and the politicians. He was constantly asking questions, forcing them to think through choices and weigh events against the teachings of Scripture.

Jesus was very practical too. He discussed the purpose of money, the importance of family, and the role of government. For over three years, His disciples saw the heart of God interacting with a fallen world, an intensely personal experience of how a Godly man should live. In short, He gave them His life.

In four books, Operation Timothy is intended to be an easy way for you to give your life to a disciple. Book one addresses subjects which can facilitate evangelism. The remaining books deal with important ideas every Christian needs to understand. By dwelling on this material, you have the opportunity to talk about your experiences, listen to your disciple's thoughts and experiences, and build a conversational relationship with him.
